Robert is a that rare individual who completely understands how marketing drives sales revenue. His end to end knowledge of how engagement really works is next level good and produces tangible results. He’s collaborative and keeps an open mind when problem solving. As an added bonus, he always knows where to get good coffee, a valuable trait and his low key super power.

I worked with Robert for several years at Moravia/RWS and really enjoyed working together. Robert is organized, pragmatic and unafraid to tackle challenges with smart solutions that also have long-term benefits. I appreciated that I felt comfortable being honest and candid with Robert about issues and their solutions and that he was an action-oriented leader who believed in collaborating with his team on next steps and a breakdown of the plan to execute. He believes in the best approach for the job, in investing in the tools necessary to make his team more efficient and organized, and in measuring tangible results.

Robert has been one of the most influential managers in my career to date. There has been no other leader that has connected to his team in a way that brings positive and inspirational growth both corporately and personally, which does not lose integrity, openness, honestly, or professionalism especially while shuttling his team through integrations, changes, and unchartered waters.

Robert’s ability to see the whole picture in all its colors and variations is truly unique. His passion for understanding, I mean really truly understanding and recognizing the needs of a broad scope is incredible. As is his way of taking complexity and explaining it in the simplest form for all to understand. Robert’s sheer passion for understandings does not stop with him, it cascades over to his team. I do not think a single person on his teams over the years has not caught the seek-to-understand bug, so to speak. I think this has made us all driven to calmly and rationally understand the reasons of need or want.

John Quincy Adams said it best. ‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader.'

Working with Robert, whether directly or indirectly, was a pleasure and privilege for me. He has shown his excellent people management skills from the start and was always willing to help anytime I had a difficulty to overcome. Even just watching and listening to him has taught me a lot.

Robert also has a strong understanding of apps and technology, and he is continuously looking for new ways to apply them to make work more efficient for everyone.

I had the pleasure to report to Robert at RWS managing our marketing creative team operations. I learned more from Robert than any previous manager, and now strive to incorporate more of Roberts leadership skills as my own. Robert leads with professionalism, integrity, and honesty. This along with his calm demeanor and logic allow him to create and manage teams that can handle any obstacle and thrive. I would be honored to work alongside him again.

Robert has numerous remarkable skills, but the one that has always impressed me most is his ability to get quickly oriented in complex problems even if they fall outside his own area of expertise. Robert knows to ask the right questions and creatively correlate facts to shape new ideas. Always reliable, quick to grasp an issue and ready to lend immediate support, Robert nonintrusively helps colleagues and partner teams achieve their goals and - even more - broaden their horizon and get inspired to higher levels of achievement.

I was lucky to work with Robert for two years at RWS. I was impressed from the start by his down-to-earth approach, his professionalism, but above all by the way he cares about what he does and the people he works with. Robert is kind, honest and encouraging. He is always willing to share his extensive knowledge to empower others. I truly believe that he is the team leader who makes a difference in the company, and the mentor that any young newcomer would want to know. I have learned a lot from working with Robert and I really hope that I can inspire and help future junior colleagues in their careers as much as he has done for me.

In the short time I knew Robert at RWS I could see he was a great team leader from day one. His down to earth approach was very refreshing. Robert was very devoted to his team and RWS. It was a real privilege to know him. I will miss his openness, professionalism and humour.

I only worked with Robert briefly, but in that time he made a profound impact on our marketing efforts. He has the rare mix of emotional maturity, strategic thinking, and process discipline needed to affect change quickly. Robert Jelenic is one of the most creative, strategic marketing thinkers I’ve ever met. At Moravia (which became RWS Moravia and is now RWS) I remember discussing big-picture questions with him about the prime directive / core value proposition of our business, and then seeing these ideas reinforced in campaigns, and via meaningful thought leadership. I can safely say that some of the most interesting, thought-provoking professional conversations I’ve ever had were with Robert.

What I admire most about Robert is his ability to see the big picture. You can trust and rely on him because you know he has the vision. He is so human as a leader - kind, humble, and honest, but also pragmatic and encouraging, and he is prepared to take any possible step forward. He is also a super geek, in addition to his amazing management and people skills. He is always up to date on the latest new technologies and is actively trying to implement those in the corporate world. I’ve learned a lot from working with Robert over the years. He was always pushing me to do more. Great leaders always make a difference. Robert made a difference (whether it was Moravia or RWS). It was really an honor to work with such an awesome geeky boss like Robert.

I enjoyed working with Robert and learned something from him every day. Robert is the kind of manager who is always learning himself and always trying to improve his skills and relationships. He builds trust easily and is a great coach and leader. His leadership is based on knowledge, people skills, and strategic focus. He expects great work but is always willing to pitch in to get the job done. Robert always sees and understands the big picture and how to improve it. It was a pleasure to work for and collaborate with Robert.

Robert has impeccable taste, can see the big picture while keeping an eye on the details, is amazingly resourceful, and has extensive and diverse knowledge at his disposal. With him on your team, you know you not only have a chance for a good outcome, but you can also go for a world-class result. What also sets him apart is his ability to stay positive and search for solutions in the face of the most difficult situations and to uplift everyone’s spirit along the way. It was an absolute delight and a privilege to work with him.

Robert Jelenic was a real pleasure to work! He was an outstanding leader, practical thinking, and never afraid to ask the hard questions to think things through thoroughly. With his hands-on approach and down to earth personality, naturally gained him the respect of the entire organization.
